A buddy of mine that has a police issue Ruger .357 mag revolver. Wanting to sell it to me for $250. It does shoot reall well but dont know the year or anything, just wondering if this would be a good price? Thanks!

That's a good deal. In fact, if you don't buy it, let me know and I will. Does it have adjustable rear sites? If so, all the better.

$250 is a great price if it's not rusted or pitted! Any 'holster wear' spots? Barrel length? I own several Ruger revolvers...never found one I didn't like! They are tougher than nails revolvers...sounds like a good deal to me!

$250 for a security six or a speed six is a really good deal. $250 for any GP series is a great deal! Bring the man his money. Have fun

Yes sir, that's a good deal for a Ruger 357 DA revolver regardless of model. Good luck to you on getting it home!

I would probably have it the other way around myself, but I am partial to the discontinued security and speed sixes... :D The GP100 and SP101 are just as good, maybe even better, but I can find them new just about anywhere... Regardless of the model, sounds like a heck of a deal .

I looked around for 6 months;finally found one here on INGO for $300-4" blue-jumped on it! Didn't quibble on the price either-Sec.6's are getting harder to find all the time
