    scratch that. I couldn't find one under $550. my vx-r is a 3-9x

    I found mine at Dunham's around a month ago for 469 but it looks like they are OOS now. They are a little hard to find at the moment. I asked my local dealer about them back when I was looking and he seemed to think they would become more available closer to hunting season (I have no idea when that is).

    I'm interested in a Ruger Ranch in 5.56, 7.62x39, or 308 if they make those.
    They say you can change the 7.62x39 magwell to the same as the 5.56 and it will work with 7.62x39 AR-15 magazines.

    That would be fun. I would like one in 762 or 308. I think if I was going to get another 556, I would do something like a long ranger express lever action.
