Thought I would bump this thread. Anyone out there put some time in with their Ruger Carbine? I held one today for the first time and I WANT ONE.

I ran some rounds through mine toady. I'm happy! I would like to get a small red dot for it though. These old man eyes aren't when they used to be.
I ran 115 and 124 gr through it from Glock 17, Magpul G17 and Chinese mags. Didn't have a single problem. I ran it suppressed and un-suppressed. I need to find some decent sub-sonics and see how well it does. With the suppressor it is a tad long but manageable.

Have roughly 500 of my reloads through mine with no issues. I use a trs25 red dot which at 50 yds, shooting a 9in paper plate is easy to put every round on it without trying.

You need to buy a spare barrel and have it internally suppressed or just have the one you have done.

I also have put 150+ rounds thru mine. It is pie plate accurate at 40 yards with the ghost ring sights, I put a small red dot on and brought the shot groups into about six inches. Great fun to shoot as I mostly shoot handguns. I shot a mix of three brands of 115 gr ball ammo and no issues at all right out of the box as it came from the factory.
