Ruger scout problem

Is the Scout just a different version of another rifle like the 77? I was checking Numrich to see if they might have the firing pin spring, but they don't list the Gunsite Scout as one of Ruger's rifles. Presumably it would have the same bolt if it were just a special version of one of their other rifles.

One post prior, you were 'diagnosing' the problem and now you aren't sure if a Scout is a 77?

They don't make a reel with enough drag for this thread....
