Ruger Sr1911 Rattle

Anyone have a Ruger 1911 that has horrible rattle ?

Is the mag loaded? I don't notice anything with mine loaded or unloaded and I have the 5" model.

magazine out , i hear the grip safety but that doesn't concern me, the slide has a rattle when you shake it back and forth, kinda annoying

Ya i posted on here bout my Ruger rattling but it shoots great, just kinda bugs me and wondering if anyone else has same problem ?

No. Have you picked up a Les Baer, Ed Brown, a Volkmann, a Korth, inter alia?

Lots of good stuff out there. As 1911 shooters, our cups runneth over.

A Glock will solve that problem for you and you won't have to spend more money on something that should be right , right out of the box .

My NightHawk T3 did not rattle neither does my 1918 US property Marked Colt.

Poor bushing fit.
Improper lock up of the barrel (combined with the bushing thing)
Out of speck internals.

If it rattles something is loose in it.

Ya i do love the Glocks but have been a 1911 fan for along time now. It's a great shooter but you are right about it should of been right straight from the box, Surely i'm not the only one who has this problem or did i just get a lemon ?
