I have a Ruger SR22 Rifle. I love the gun but it seems quite heavy for a .22LR. The bad thing about the weight is that it is disproportionately heavy in the front. Of course I assume this is the cold hammer forged steel bull barrel causing this. I was thinking about replacing the barrel with a threaded aluminum one. From what I have seen online, most recommend either the Tactical Solutions or the Whistle Pig aluminum bull barrels. Does anyone have any experience or opinions that might help? I want the bull barrel thickness to preserve the aesthetics of the gun. I'll be honest, I bought this gun just because it looks cool.
