I prefer the Dragoon style trigger guard. Doesn't bonk me at all. I do tend to get a little lower on the grip though, makes for no sliding, which helps when making followup shots.

Nice looking hand cannon! I have a 7.5 Blackhawk and redhawk. They both shoot great and are a blast to shoot. Last year I took a doe with the Blackhawk at 25 yards.
