I was wondering if you have any in stock, or can get them. And if so, what would the cost be?

Make sure the barrel thread are heat treated. The first batches missed that process and qc did not catch it. I believe those should be out of the pipeline now so you should be good to go.

Easy to check if the end of the barrel at the frame should have the rainbow effect in the bluing. Like a bad case coloring look.

I was was told by a ruger rep that the barrels were made by a sub contractor and a shipment missed a step and was shipped to the assembly plant. That was in the first push run to get them out to the shooting public and ruger replaced the ones in the pipeline but many first adapters got bad ones.

Ruger sent my neighbor a front and he shipped back o old. Ruger has a small rep of rushing out new products and having to recall them. The customer service is very good but being a stock owner in the company I wish they did not have to use it as often.
