I picked this up several years ago with the intentions of having a custom built from it.
I still haven't gotten around to doing that, but I have been watching the selling prices on Gunbroker going up and I guess the 44-40s are getting more collectible.
"Old" Model Vaqeuro in 44-40

5-1/2" barrel
Comes with box and manual.
Unknown round count before my purchase, and I shot a box of ammo through it.
There is a 1/2" scratch at the end of the barrel (4th picture) and the back of the grip has some rust spots (8th picture.)
The simulated Ivory grips have been removed and it will come with the factory wood grips.
