Let me get the bad stuff out in the open first. Stock has been refinished. Notch for mount is not original and mount/scope are repros. Butt plate appears to be refinished.[/FONT]

[FONT="]This Tokarev SVT-40 was manufactured in 1941 at the Ishevsk Arsenal, and is Soviet Refurbished in really nice condition. The blued metal finish is 99% with no sign of rust or corrosion. The stock has an Arsenal repair (left side adjacent to the magazine), a few minor dings, no bad dents or bruises. This rifle has the “purple bolt.” The bore is shinny with good deep rifling. [/FONT]
