"Tula" means quiver in Tartar.Am I crazy or didn't tula have a factory mark that is a star with a T inside it? I tried googling it and cant find anything but the arrow marks.
I have the opportunity to buy a mosin nagant and a nagant revolver both with the markingStar with an arrow inside it is Tula manufacturing symbol on the mosin nagant long arms. What series of firearma are you questioning?

I like how Molot means hammer and Vepr is a wild boar. So my Molot Vepr 12 is a literal Pig Hammer! I even ordered some nice walnut Russian made furniture that has a wiid boar carved in the grip."Tula" means quiver in Tartar.
