Saw this on the Indiana Moms Against Gun Control Facebook and decided to forward here.

ALERT: July 13, 2016 - OPPOSE the “Help End Assault Rifle Tragedies” (aka H.E.A.R.T.) Act. -- Draft Letter(s) Pending

I just learned about these two measures (probably twins) which were proposed in theUS House and US Senate yesterday (Tues July 12, 2016). I am sharing popvox links (which will also have links to the official US congress.gov site text, when available) for ease of sending a letter to the proper representatives in the legislature using the tools on the site.

The descriptive titles given to each of these are: “To prohibit the transfer, loan, or other disposition of a machinegun or semiautomatic assault weapon to an individual under 16 years of age.” – This means for ANY use, at ANY time.

Well, yeah. Don't you know firing an AR can give someone temporary PTSD and disorientation? Shooting one too young might make then psychos later on in life
