S&W Custom shop wait finally over

After a seven month wait, I got a call from FedEx that my 686 is on it's way back from the S&W custom shop. I sent it in back in May to have them perform the combat revolver package, recess the crown, and install some Meprolight tritium sights. Once it gets here I am putting on a pair of Hogue kingwood, round butt conversion finger groove grips with fish scale checkering.

Nice. The 686 was my first handgun about 27 years ago. No custom work like yours though.

I appreciate all the kind words. The best part about this was it didn't cost me a fortune to have done and it came out beautifully. Took me a little while, but here are some more pictures.
