I just went to the range with an extended firing pin and spring from cylinder and slide and the pistol is now 100%. Just FYI and YMMV. Seems like many of these pistols may now need personal attention due to trying to satisfy various silly legislation. Also, my pistols internal lock is now safely stored in a baggy in my spare parts bin.
