Not sure I'm in favour of this. While I like SAF and the great work they're doing for us, JPFO has always been a no compromise organisation and stalwart defender of gun Rights. Alan Gottleib has shown that he will compromise on some issues to take a step forward, (even though it will stub our toe and impede progress in the future). I wish the JPFO board would listen to others who have a plan to keep it alive and independent, but I fear they will not. Dollar signs are flashing in their heads, is my guess.
