    Just spent some "quality time" with the son out front. It's a lovely evening. He was picking up black walnuts, while I harvested about $100 worth of saffron. I think my crocuses are really coming into their own. Can't wait to cut down that black walnut tree. Might make some stuff from the trunk.

    Be a heck of a bench :) I have to see how it dries out, but I have a plastic tube stuffed full. Picked more tonight than I have the last three years, easy. There's a bit more to come.

    I'm ready to try it this year; I have enough to do something with. May have before; I guess it doesn't take much, but I didn't get much. This year there's a bunch, though. It's drying :)
