    So.....I bought an Aimpoint T1 to put on the DDI. I really like the low profile look of the Attero Arms Bravo Mount but they're out of stock and while they seem to get pretty good reviews I honestly don't know if there is a better choice.

    What does everyone prefer to get a red dot mounted up? The side mounts seem like they'd be bulky/weighty compared to something like the Attero.

    Side mounts aren't that heavy and are the classic approach. For a t1 microdot style my favorite is a TWS dust cover dedicated mount. Dot bolts to the cover and is slightly lower than a pic rail mount. It cowitnesses on my mini draco.

    One of the most requested mods I get is to install a combo front sight and gas block, cut the barrel to 14.5" and pin a break/flash hider on.

    Just saying. :)
