Saiga 12 side folding conversions anyone?

Anyone familiar with Saiga 12 sidefolding conversions? I have the itch to go a little further with this one. There used to be a tutorial many years back and has since been removed?
I can’t find it anywhere. and have some questions and looking for solutions

Yep! Converted my standard sporter Saiga 12 into a side folder and magazine fed variant with factory magwell/folding catch assembly.

It’s a real PITA. A lot different than the AK74 style latch. If you go through with it, do not start it unless you secured the correct Saiga 12 latch assembly. Also, The folding trunnion will need to be trimmed along the side supports to clear the bolt carrier.

Thats a nice front end there. Did you have to do anything to those ports when shortning the barrel?

Everyone has been out on the S12 latch kit.
