I have a saiga, stamped with cyrillic markings and made in russia by ishmash that is also stamped russian american armory,scotsburg ,in .Is this reciever considered U.S. or imported for 922r? My apologies if this should have been obvious

It's imported. RAA is the importer.

"Made in Russia" Yep. Imported. They make a damn fine ak once converted. I still miss mine on occasion.

And speaking of Saiga's. I was just browsing Armslist and I can't believe the amount they're asking for them! Holy Cow! Glad I bought mine back when they were $350! I have the parts to convert mine to proper config., just haven't done it yet.
