Hello all! New guy here. I just purchased a Sar K2 .45. Anyone else ever shot or bought one? Mine has been 100% reliable thus far. Just looking for some new input. Ive found around 7 articles on these things on the internet, this almost like these things dont even exist. At right under $500 for an all metal 14+1 .45 with a grip similar to a Beretta 92, if you could you should snatch these up. Lock up is nice and tight, adjustable sights, points naturally, and carries the same as other .45 hi caps Ive had. I will definitely die with mine. :rockwoot:If anyone knows ANYTHING, leave it! :n00b::laugh:

I have a Sarsilmaz built AR 24k in 9mm. It's one of the best built guns I own. It's no lightweight compact 9, but it is a rock solid gun that works well. I've looked at the K2 but have not jumped on one yet. For now, I like to keep my 9mms in the CZ 75 format, .40/10 in Glock and .45 in 1911. SAR definitely knows how to build a great firearm.

The K2 (and other Sar firearms) are some of the best kept secrets. People really underestimate how nice these firearms are. There are a lot of guys into them over at the CZ forums.

The Sar 2k .45 is a really well kept secret. I am a CZ guy and hang out over on the CZ forum some. The guys over there that have them just rave about their accuracy and how solid they are. I have thought about getting one but am sticking with 9mm for now. I think, based on all I have read, that you made a very good buy. Congrats.

I just wish EAA would import the 10mm version of the K2 they had in their catalog a while back. That was a 17+1 10mm pistol that I'd buy in a heart beat if I saw one out there.

That would be cool but I'd rather have a CZ 97 in 10mm.

That would be great too as long as they kept the capacity. The main thing I did not like about my CZ 97 was the capacity was low for the size. It's the same size as the K2, but was held to 10 rounds instead of the 14 it should have been able to carry.

True, it would have been nice for them to have 14 round capacity. The 97 I had was the most accurate and softest shooting .45 I have ever experienced. I got rid of it when I went to all 9mm and regret it sometimes.

I think the 97 you had was the one I sold to your buddy. Had that gun been a 14 round .45, I'd probably still have it in my safe. It was really nice. A CajunGunWorks reach reduction would have make it perfect given a higher capacity.

SAR's seem like real nice guns, don't own one(yet), but I've looked at them at the LGS. The biggest concern I have would be customer service. I've read that it's not the best. Has anyone had any experience dealing with them?

You are probably right. He and I have swapped so many guns I really can't keep track of it. He always seems to get the best end of the deal though.;)
