    I had an excellent time!

This was just like the Steel match; good time, great people, and lots to learn! Did I mention great people?

I met a guy at the gate who was politely astonished that I was going to shoot my first match with gun I've never shot. One of the organizers was nice enough to sign us in (and gave us targets) so we could use the practice range. The new glock is dead on accurate. I had no trouble keeping groups not much larger then a bowling pin...then he tried it; with 15 rounds he made a hole not much larger then a golf ball. Then he pulls out a Colt Gold Cup Trophy, and rounds he loaded specifically for bowling pins, (he also had rounds loaded for steel matches) then proceeds to tear out the bulls eye. Later in the match he used a 'bug gun', snub nose revolver, and still won some tables.

The RO's helped a great deal with advice on how to aim, what type of ammo to shoot, and to 'slow the hell down.' lol.

In the end I won four times and lost four times.

Damn, good time. Great bunch of people.
