The SCAR 17s is my favorite semi-auto rifle for the following reasons;

The above 5 shot groups are with military surplus 147gr DAG 7.62x51 (1996 lot) fired from 100 yards. Target grid size is 1/2". Support was bench using a bipod and a Leupold 3-9 VXR scope. Rifle is stock with no upgrades or enhancements other than optic and bipod mentioned. From this average shooter, judge for yourself whether its accuracy is good to go for your purposes.
Friends that have fired my SCAR have all commented that the recoil is less than half that of their AR-10, LMT, and SIG 716 rifles. I have only fired the LMT and at least in that instance, agree with the recoil assessment.
