We are part of a small church group which rents a building of a private Christian university for church meeting and worship.
We are the only people in the building on the Sundays we are there, and there are no school functions on that day.
Does the building stilll fall in the bounds of being a school, thereby restrictive of having a concealed handgun on the premises?

It's only k-12 that is a GFZ, IIRC.

THIS. If its not a K-12 school, you dont have to worry about the STATE GFZ laws. You may still have to contend with the private policies of the university though.

But getting reprimanded/trespassed from uni property is still better than a pair of matching bracelets.

When in doubt, concealed means CONCEALED.

I appreciate the replies.....but I'm wondering: Is there documentation in the Indiana codes which define "school" as K-12?

Sounds like it doesn't apply here but the GFZ also applies to licensed daycare as well. And there is a difference between registered daycare and licensed daycare.
