I thought the problem with the 10mm glocks are that they have larger frames than the 19 and 23, meaning you'll have magazine issues. it would probably be easier for you to go to 45 acp or 45 super. I'm sure you can find a conversion kit out there. As for my experience, I converted a glock 23 (40 S&W) to 357 sig with a lonewolf barrel and it worked flawlessly, no mag change or anything. I was also very impressed that the point of aim and point of impact was exactly the same.
You use the 10mm mags loaded with .40. I have a G20 SF and have a .40 conversion barrel. Also have G21 slide and a set of .45 mags for that setup. I have run the .40 with the 10mm barrel but since I have the conversion barrel I just swap it.
