Why get rid of your laptop because of the OS? Just get windows 7 or Ubuntu or other flavor of Linux. If you like the specs, then change the OS.

An iPad is a big iPod Touch.... we have Android tablets, I have an iPhone and I have a Droid Razr. Tablets and even my Razr is good for browsing, watching YouTube and such, but they lack in many areas. I want a full keyboard, I want an external mouse, I want USB ports for flash drives, and the ability to use programs and store large amounts of data like videos and photos.
