The shooter in Louisville has been caught- a black male juvenile in a gray hoodie, apparently he was after just one particular student. That student is hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

Alot of these, the media is chasing due to the "shock value" of 'em.

These are usually one person with a vendetta against another, rather than a mass shooting which the media loves and the left drools for. Drug related crime, gang related, etc... not "I'm sad, so I'll kill other students" psychotic shooting sprees.

I heard on the radio earlier today that the suspect in the Louisville shooting was a female. Who knows with these modern "journalists" and "news" people? I thought it was hilarious when the dumb radio "news" chick said a female shot a male, then referred to "her" as the "gunman".

Stop giving these school shootings media time and in all probability they would decrease substantially. The media moguls love the shock factor.

I live near Crapville..er Louisville and the coverage was awful.

You would have thought that 20 kids were killed at Fern Creek HS.

I didn't hear about the shooting until I got home from work. My wife told me there was a school shooting in Louisville. I asked, where, Fern Creek? Yep. She said some of the news stations had 3 hours of mind numbing, idiotic, wall-to-wall coverage.

She is absolutely correct. It was hands on deck reporting, even had the chopper in the air.

All that coverage for a shooting that had no fatalities and one victim.

They search 3 hours for the shooter, then found him where he fled straight to, his house.

Fern Creek is way out Bardstown Road, near the Outer Loop. Low income to low middle class, not worst area in Jefferson County, but not near the best either.

The early word is the victim owed the shooter some money and failed to pay.
