scope mount for XD45

I am trying to get Christmas ideas, and was wondering if you can scope mount an XD45. I know that there is a lower rail for laser and light, but I was curios about putting on a red dot.

Ok. That sure is something. I'm going to pass on that one and say forget the scope idea.

This is probably the best option. It's the C-more mount from Pistol Gear.

I modified a mount for my XD, just to see if I could.

The Pistolgear one for C-more's is much better built, I run that same mount on my Glock rig and couldn't be more please. The modified XD mount shown ran me $~50 or so, not including the cheap-ee red dot.
