Scope warranties.

I like Vortex but I question the durability. I like durable stuff. I had a rifle leaning against the wall and it got tipped over and the vortex scope broke. They fixed it, but its made me question it ever since.

What Vortex was it? Dropped a Razor several times with no issues at all.

Same reason I don't like FORDs ... I had a FORD Truck, I crashed it and it broke ...

If all it takes is a tip over to break a scope, no thanks.

At the time the scope costs around $400. I expect a little more durability than that.

The scope I picked up for my carbine project was a Zeiss from east Germany in 1952. Remarkably clear and looks great for being so old.
