Scrubbed Mosin 91/59

My 'scrubbed' 91/59 I just picked up a couple weeks ago. Looks like it was an Izhevsk circa @ 42-43,just guessing from the high wall and machining marks on the tang, Has an excellent shiny bore...Can't wait to shoot it.Also, a first for me seeing, is it has matching numbers with a serial number on the side of the rec'r.

Looks good, they are an interesting variation and most seem to be built from 43 Izhevsk 91/30s. The serial number on the side of the receiver was likely stamped there by Century Arms when imported.

Nice! My favorite variation of the Mosin carbine. When they converted these from 91/30s they definitely took their time.
