Yet Another Study Claims Segregation (Lack of White People) Is the Reason for High Rates of Gun Violence in Black Communities Across America… Because Blaming Individual Black People for the Collective Violence Is a Violation of Every “Truth” Maintaining the Status Quo

Rather, as explained by Abt, racially segregated communities are often poor, disconnected from employment opportunities and do not share in the same institutional, political and investment capital as comparable? white neighborhoods. Likewise, poor segregated neighborhoods are more likely to have high levels of distrust in the legal system, low levels of immigrant concentration and a small share of professional workers, the opposite of which are neighborhood factors that tend to reduce violent crime.

    Comparable in what way?

Not sure. I'm surprised they aren't a lot better off without all of those racist white people around to oppress them or something.

Hmm, wonder if they ever break it down by areas of income, employment rate, welfare, percentage of people that finished highschool, single parents. etc maybe this should have been purple.

Wonder what excuse the poor white folk have. What about them Hatfields and McCoys? How does that excuse work in other countries?

One 2016 survey showed 80% of Black respondents in the United States said gun violence was an extremely serious problem but 57% of Black respondents thought that most people in America don’t care about the gun violence that affects communities of color.

You can include BLM in that 57% too and they could give a rat's behind less about blacks killing blacks.

I thought everything was the fault of white people?
No surprise that this is too.

White people present = All our problems are caused by white people being racist to us.

White people absent = All our problems are caused by white people leaving because they're racist.

Around and around we go. The answer is not that black people are at fault because they're all inferior and violent, and the answer is not that white people are at fault because they're all racist. Shed a tear for the death of nuance.

    Could be anywhere
Segregated by politics. Socialism fails at even the smallest sample. Tribalism is even worse. Pick a candidate for mayor, Adam West or Rahm Emanuel. Race will have nothing to do with the outcome.
