Thinking about selling my pt111 at the 1500 but not sure
Options are: trade it in for something newer or keep it and just buy a newer gun

I've carried this gun everywhere and would like a reliable pocket gun for the summer time
Still don't know it was my first and only handgun :n00b:

If I could find something in 9mm with a pocket gun everything else is under power or overpriced

If it works and you like to carry it keep it don't fix it if Its not broken

but we arnt allowed to carry weapons where I work but they don't pay my life insurance or give me a stab vest so I feel like a walking atm
The warmer weather makes concealment harder

I had a PT111 and I liked it, traded for a Kel-tec p11, and I've never looked back I LOVE my P11`!!!! shoots good, accurate( for a small 9mm) and, to me it's recoil is pretty good, of course I'm 6'1 200 and too many pounds, plus the p11 can use S&W m59 mags, which as I understand it can also be used in the Marlin Camp 9. Double plus to me

Well to me it depends on the generation of your pt111.
    Is it a millenium model?
Des it say millenium on one side and PT111 pro on the other, or does it say Millenium Pro on one side?

If it's a 2nd or 3rd generation the asking price is usually around $300.
I don't see many of the first generation PT111's for sale

If you can find a buyer for $300 like Hornett said then you are getting full value for it. If you get low balled I would just hold on to it until you can get a reasonable price for it. If you enjoy shooting it I would just keep it. Most of us on the forum will tell you that we've all sold a firearm and regret it.

As to your pocket pistol question. I can't tell you what will work for you, but I carry a LCP daily and have heard good reviews about the Diamondback pistols. Haven't gotten the opportunity to shoot one though. LC9 might be an option too if you can find one for a reasonable price.

    I've been there...

After buying, and competing IDPA with a 1st model PT111, I wanted more. Unfortunately, due to finances, I was a one handgun guy. I stepped up to 1911 for carry, and IDPA. Now, I've gone to a semi-compact, and post this 2 years later after buying/bonding w/ Sig P6.

If I were a two pistol guy, the Springfield 1911 would still be here for carry, occasionally.

IMO, the size of the P6 is fairly ideal for a combined role of CC, and competition.
