    Lugar just did something else boneheaded just the other day. Either he voted for the Amnesty thing, or....something...I can't remember.......BRAIN, WHY DO YOU TAUNT ME SO!!!!!

    This is something that shouldn't surprise anyone.
    Some years back (1980ish), a very reliable source in Lugar's Indianapolis Mayoral administration spoke in a private conversation of Lugar leading a double life in those Mayoral years.
    Whether this still is going on I have no knowledge.
    Though a case can be made that what a political figure does with another man in his private life is not our business, it could explain Lugar's stand on this issue.
    A much greater concern of mine through the years with regard to Lugar, is whether his fear of this being made widespread public knowledge has allowed him to be pressured into casting votes he otherwise wouldn't have?

    Even a blind squirrel gets a nut once in awhile. This is probably the first good thing he has done in awhile.
