Saw one of the local TV polls that showed Coats won by a landslide, with Sink-Burris being sunk. They said she would only get 5% of the votes based on their survey. I hope my vote is one of the many to show they couldn't tell a rigged poll from a hole in the ground.

The local TV polls were seriously wrong about the Republican primaries with all of them indicating that Hostettler was well ahead of Stutzman. Many that supported Hostettler would have supported Stutzman if they has more accurate info and possibly kept Coats off the ballot. I lost the last of my trust in local political polling with that election.

Excellent points about trusting the polls!

I only saw one mention of it, so I'll add a comment on the moderator. I'm not sure who he is, but I think he did a great job. He didn't toss out softball questions for any candidate, other than the one's he dubbed "moderator's choice" about midway thru the debate.

For anyone that watched this with an open mind, and has paid even minimal attention to the news over the past few years, how could anyone come away from this debate and not have a very positive opinion of Mrs. Rebecca Sink-Burris?

I don't care what the polls are trying to influence, I know who I'll be proudly casting my vote for in the US Senate election.

If RSB doesn't win, it'll be because Lake County is the very last to report; waiting to determine how many votes they needed to cast in order to put Obama, er, Ellsworth over the top.
    I'm just saying...

Here is the real poll coming from people that watched the debate. Rebecca wins with atleast a 2 to 1 margin. She blows the crap out of dumbo and reptoid.
Rebecca at 275 votes at 60.3%
    Coats at 155 votes 34%
    Ellsworth at 6 votes 1.3%

Unfortunately, polling numbers DO influence voters. Those that were going to vote for Sink-Burris MIGHT see the low polling numbers and think they are wasting their time voting for her. Others feel the need to vote for a winner and will see Coats winning by a large margin and jump on the train. Sad, but true.

I'm spreading the word about Sink-Burris, and if you prefer her for the open seat, do the same. Join her Facebook page and comment on it so all your friends see it. Send emails to your friends letting them know there is another choice out there. :twocents:
