I have a funny feeling that the aforementioned solution is going to be pretty much unanimous here!

Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) said the $315 million in funding would otherwise come from taxpayers and argued it is better to stick passengers who rely on TSA with the bill.

This 'logic' could be equally well applied to having a fee charged to women who travel through dangerous neighborhoods to support the rapists upon whom they rely.

I for one believe that there are more than enough taxes and fees associated with flying today. The total "take" for the feds on an airline ticket is approaching a third of the cost. With bag fees, parking, landing and take-off fees and the ever popular TSA, it's downright ridiculous!!!

wouldnt it save a whole crap load of money and aggravation if we just profiled instead of punishing everyone?

I would rather pay for those jokers to sit on unemployment than pay them to violate my rights, and molest the children and elderly.

It would be an improvement, but I would sooner have them do work, preferably of a manual nature, in some fashion in which they are not a chronic threat to the travelling public while completely useless as a defense against the forces of evil.

How can you fund anything without a budget? Seriously............. There should be something about not being able to raise anything without it!
