My dog was out tacking care of business a couple of days ago and brought one up to the house. I guess my waterfowl dog likes antlers as well.!!!!!

All this talk about finding sheds out in the woods? :dunno:

You guys are so lucky. I had to go buy my own. Just went to Lowes and picked up the size I needed. If anyone finds an extra shed out there, let me know.

Why buy when you can build one

I've been thinking of doing the same thing, got a couple of shed plan books and am in process of picking one out and starting on one in the spring, taking my time.
Glad someone started this thread, will probably need some expert shed building advice as I start this endeavor.

Found two. One side of a small eight point last week and one side of a decent eight point this week. However, I have put in 24 miles of walking to find those two. Not a very good find ratio.lol

First time I ever tried it I was a bit late and found a chewed up 3 pt.
Found a couple of other small 3 and 4 point sides over the years.
    One decent 5.
    Never a full set.
One early bow season walking through CRP I saw the bottom of an antler, dropped the year before and of good size. I thought for sure it was gnawed up.
Pulled and up came a tumbleweed.
Perfect condition 6 pt pain frame with 5 kickers, scored 90 inches.
Saw that deer in MZ season (after I bucked out of course). Deer was found dead after hunting season a couple farms over, yotes had him to bones but the rack was fine. Scored 189 non typ.
Gave that big shed I found to my bud, when he moved away (my kids little and beating the hell out of my coffee table with it LOL).

I was driving home from work two mornings ago and saw a buck running around with one antler and it looked like a clean break no stub like it had been shot off.
