Looking to purchase some extra magazine's for my 9mm shield. Has anyone used the ProMag's? Did they work well or are the S&W mags better?

If its a mag you will carry I always suggest using the original OEM magazines provided by Smith and Wesson. I tried ProMag products for my full sized M&P and they were junky and never fed reliably.

I have never had a good experience with pro mags. I've tried them in a few rifles and pistols I've had over the years with no success. I'm not saying there aren't people that have had good luck, but I have no place for "might work" mags. OEM mags would be my choice.

I purchased a pro-mag for my full size because I was going to a class and needed another mag and everyone was out of stock. It ran everything I put in it without issue. I would have no issue using the mag again for time at the range but for something that I would carry for SD, I would rather stick to OEM.
