Ultrasonics over time can damage aluminum baffles and some ultrasonic cleaning chemicals can damage aluminum as well. Also the outer finish on the can may get damaged

Not really, just threads in and is a push rod. From the description "This tool may also be used with any other make or model of 22 Rimfire Sound Suppressor that has a removable front end cap and 1/2"-28 Threads. "

Do you have a threaded .45? Just remove the front end cap and fire a .45 through the can to remove the baffles
