Just got the Quad rail and MD gas plug. I think it's done now.

How's the 12 round drum (ProMag?) working for you? I hear good things about them, but then there's that whole ProMag thing....

I finally got around to mounting a scope and a Boyds thumbhole stock onto my slugger. It's a comfortable, nice cheap setup and pretty accurate for still slinging lead slugs.

boo for mossberg... they are nice guns... but i am an 870 believer, but lets not turn this into a glock vs xd.... 45 vs 40.... 870 vs 500 thread.

Well in that case scroll up and look at mine. It's a Remington 870 with a Mossberg Breaching barrel. If you can't choose, then just combine. Kind of like taking my shorty AR and feeding 7.62 through it now.

a break from the plastic, polymer and parkerized...

How about a little DEEP lustre European bluing, nicely figured Circassian walnut?

Here is a newly acquired Perazzi MX5 20g bird gun - yep, every now and then you can find a Perazzi in the uplands instead of the trap/skeet/sporting clays range.

Maverick 87. My brother just picked it up today for a pretty decent price. First shotgun. Nothing too crazy. He plans on keeping it remotely stock. This will be used as a closet defense gun.

I never heard of the 88.
What the difference between the 87 and the 88? :dunno:
