I just picked this up ... 1972 Wingmaster. The bluing is in awesome shape. No pitting, no gouges, not even a scratch on it anywhere except on the mag tube from the slide.

I think I'm going to SBS this.

With my first shot gun I went very basic on it, and isn't want to spend too much but still wanted a good gun. Decided on the Mossberg 500. Very nice pump action, good quality and not as costly as a Remington but should still last just as long as one. Went ahead and got the field and security combo to get the two different barrels for it. Added the sling for ease of carry purposes.

Three very different (from each other) shotguns

My Saiga 12 rigged for Hog Shooting. I have taken 5 hogs with slugs from this killer. It does very well in the field.

Another Military clone...The Turkish AR Model 1919 12 gauge- I haven't fired this since buying it. But all reports are that it does the job also !!

And an 870 Jr Express rigged for deer with a slug barrel and scope mount.

Last but perhaps most unusual-- A W C Scott & Sons 1877 presentation 10 Gauge Damascus Barrel SxS with external Hammers and chrome plating.

That Scott and Sons is a really cool gun.

All I want for Christmas is #1 buck...

Started life as a Mossberg 500A, gift on Christmas 2000-ish. Swapped barrel and mag tube with a Maverick 88 to get the higher capacity, and machined a bayonet lug and mount to silver solder on. Mag tube cap has machined "puck" to hold bayonet hilt (protip: the stock cap is threaded 10-32).

5-way rail mount just forward of the foregrip and 45° offset light mount with decent LED AA lighy. Bead replaced with tritium, and the required side-saddle. Foregrip was the standard field grip that I turned down to the older "corncob" style with 33 cuts. Figure it's pretty much a 590 now without needing 590 parts.

She sleeps in a Ruger 10/22 receiver lock bracket bolted to the closet wall, with the Ruger long lock securing it. Perfect fit now, don't remember if I had to do any cutting/grinding, but it keeps her from wandering off or falling prey to little hands.

A shotgun says "get off my lawn". A shotgun with a knife on it says "or else."
