Show me your non-AR SBR

I've been looking at doing an SBR for a long time and I think I'm finally going to break down and do it in the next month or two. I've got a couple ideas in mind, but I was wondering what INGOers have SBR'd, besides AR's. I'm leaning towards an UZI because I have a 16" carbine one and I can just order a barrel but I want to see what everyone else has done.

I was thinking of doing bulgy krink 74 but I missed the boat on parts kits haha. I saw that beowolf had a yugo sbr in the classifieds

Yep, Tirant 9 suppressor on it. Really quiet with .38's.

I have considered stamping one of my T/C Contenders, but with a 16" barrel and folding Choate stock it is plenty short as it is. It would be really nice to be able to just pick up any pistol barrel and use it with a stock though.

Yes sir. There is even one sitting at Beech Grove Firearms. Fun guns, you can get it in .45 or new for this year, 9mm.

Other factory SBRs you can get, Sig MPX, several different MP5 clones including K models. Thompsons, Uzis in all three sizes. (Hard to find though). HK 91 and 93 clones, PS90, original CZ scorpion. New scorpion hasn't been released as a SBR as far as I know, pistols are out, with the kit to SBR it, and full size carbines are coming out shortly.

Why no love for 5.56?

I'm just not really a fan of the round in an AK. Yamadog's example above I like as you get the benefit of the magwell and usgi mags. I wanted one of those badly. Rock n lock 556 ak mags are just too goofy for me. Like a gender identity crisis.
