Good reminder of what humans are capable of. I have been a student of the Balkans conflict since it was ongoing. It is also the most likely glimpse of what SHTF would look like in the US given our fractured society, and "us vs. them" mentality.

Find the book written during the war, titled somethng along the lines "Travel Guide to Serajevo" It was written tongue in cheek about how to get around a city under siege. You'll get the pictute real quick.

I recently ran across that site and there is a lot of interesting info there. He sure paints a dark picture of a SHTF situation, but I think it's pretty accurate.

Something I noticed was the History channel special that the guy listed the youtube link to, in it one of the "experts" mentiones that "they say people are 9 meals away from anarchy" and it's sad how true it is...
