ok got another one for ya, so i was given an old sj=hotgun from my grandfather, side by side 16g believe it or not stevens is what the manufacturer is what i believe.. has a hound dog etched on one side. just wondering if anybody heard/know about these. little background: ma dad had it and said it wads my grandfathers. dad had it rebelued bout 5-7 years ago all original wood from what i can tell just curious anybody knows anything il post a pic soon just curious thanx.

Sounds like maybe a stevens 311. I have a Savage Fox B that has a duck sceen on the bottom. If no one here can give you information, check out www.savageshooters.com they should be able to help.

It could be a 511 or a 325. I just don't remember the dog head motif....
