I have a buddy who makes some beautiful outdoor furniture that my Wife had had her eye on for a while. As things happen he bought this gun and wanted a holster, I needed that furniture and a deal was struck! The hotter it gets here in Indiana the more I appreciate that lining as it is keeping my personal 1911 dry no matter how much I sweat!

Morbid curiosity makes me ask... so how much does finished elephant leather cost?

NM... just googled it. $45/square foot. (as low as $37.50/sq if you buy 16 at a time) :faint:

    LOL

I have to admit that I switched to Kydex for my daily carry rigs. You just can't beat the look and feel that a leather holster gives. Very nicely made Sir...

Thank you Sir, I started doing it because I can't get comfortable with Kydex. I really do think I may actually have an allergy to it for some odd reason.
