I had never heard about this before. I have a 220 in .45acp, never had a problem with it.

A Sig Armorer I talked to was working on mine and mentioned that the pins last ALOT shorter compared to the 9 and even .40 P226s. Mine had broken and he was telling me about two others he replaced that year as well. Round count on mine was about 5K or so.
