    It's pretty hard. Made of steel I think...

    My Sig 229 in .40 had a tough DA but the SA was great. I ended up buying a main spring for a DAK version (the red spring) and put that in. It helped the DA pull a little.

    Those guys are right. The double action pull is pretty stiff compared to the single action. Lots of stuff you can do/have done to ameliorate this, but it is the nature of Sig DA/SA pistols to be this way.

    All of the classic series pistols have the same operating system so there is dealt no difference between the da/sa trigger pulls from the 229 vs any other Sig.
