Wish I could trade. You know how I love trading! :) But we're gonna be moving soon and I really need to raise some cash to pay down some debt. That and we'll be down to one income for a little while so things are gonna be tight.

Were you the first owner? Was it a CPO or police trade in?

I am not the original owner. The factory case is black and from my understanding the CPO's have a red case. I don't remember seeing any indicating markings anywhere on the gun itself, but If there are any you want to know about let me know and I will take a look when I get home this evening. I don't think it is a trade in either because there is no apparent holster wear.

If it is a 40/357 and the mags are factory, they are only 12 rounders. They don't make 13 rounders for the 229 in 40/357 caliber. Just a heads up. I used to own a 229 in 40/357.
The 9mm 229 has a factory capacity of 13, with Mec-Gar making 15 rounders for it also. Just a heads up.
