I am looking at a used P245 sig in .45, blued with blue getting thin on the slide. It comes with 3 magazines, a Fobus holster, and a 2 mag belt holster. What would be a fair price to offer?

You stole it, that's a $700 gun. If I recall right, the slide is stainless. Use Birchwood Casey Alumablack and it will be fine.

You got the first part right, he got a deal on a $700 pistol.

The slide is folded, made from carbon steel.

The Sig P220c is the 245's replacement model, which does have a SS slide. The 220c mags will work fine in a 245, but has a little longer plastic bottom plate. Many people like the added surface area for the pinky.
