Has anyone seen the Sig Sauer 1911 .22 Lr? I have been wanting to get some kind of 1911 style 22lr just for plinking and messing around. I just didnt know which one I wanted yet. Does anyone have any info on these? do they jam like the mosquito did? any info would be appreciated!

I picked one up about 2 moths ago and it has fed everything I've run through it without any feed or function problems. I've fired CCI mini-mags, Federal and Remington bulk ammo through it without any problems.

On a side note, the barrel is threaded and a GSG adapter fits perfectly to mount a silencer.

I thought these did not come with a threaded barrel?

There isn't a threaded portion projecting out beyond the end of the barrel, but when I tore it down to clean it, I noticed that the barrel had an adapter. I unscrewed it and the GSG adapter fits perfectly. I mounted a TAC 65 on mine and ended up buying the can just because it fit. I've got a crappy cell phone picture, but when I get my stamp and pick up the can, I can post some good pics.

So it's appears to have non of the issues the mosquito have? Wow... that would be nice then. Would it be more of a full size 1911 or a compact? I've not read of this gun before...
    thanks!

It's the same thing as the GSG 1911 LR. I've heard nothing but good things about them if you use high velocity rounds. I seen them at the last 1500 for about $360-380 if my memory serves me correctly.
