I saw a sign on an interstate highway some time back that read,

"Used cows for sale".

My first thought was, what were these cows used for?

I was just curious, what are some of the oddball signs Ingo has seen?

There is a sign in Alabama I remember seeing that said something along the lines of, "Go to church, or go to hell".

there's a huge roadside tourist trap in north carolina that has billboards advertising that it carries "everything from brassieres to chandeliers", and also has "wicker up the yin-yang".

Theres a billboard on Northbound 65 just north of Indy that says "Made you look" and has a hand playing the circle game. When my friend saw it we starting laughing so hard and nearly turned around to snap a pic.

I have a wooden smoking sign, it has a cigarette with the circle around it without the line thru it, it really means smoking

The only thing that's coming to mind is the FSBO signs for large tracts of ag land where in the farmer spells the unit of land "acer" instead of "acre."

I used to drive (walk? ride?) every day by an old abandoned place on Kentucky Ave that's since been torn down. There was a sign on the gate at the entrance that said "Not enough room to clear man on side of car". I assumed it was meant for people who are driving a vehicle that might have a person standing on the outside, much like a garbage truck. It always did make me wonder though


Edit: I also saw sign once that was on the side of the road. Someone had spray painted on to a huge piece of cork board. "Lost goat. Not worth a reward"

I got a good laugh out of that one

One of my favorite Signs was a sign I saw deployed that said "If you're reading this sign your already shot"

I saw a sign in Red Hills Park in Lawrence County, IL that read: "Unlawful to molest trees, shrubs and flowers!"

In front of a Brazil, IN pizza place on Mother's Day was this: "Have a nice day all you Mothers!"

South of Terre Haute, IN, was a billboard for a local radio station: "Get Your Rock Soft!"

By Wild Bill's ranch in Nebraska is a sign that says "illegal to molest buffalo".It is a good thing that the word molest has a couple meanings.

Around here there used to be a 'Rent a Goat' place. Used to scratch my head over that. Maybe if you don't have a lawn mower?

I once parked on the side of a road in Texas and slept in my car. When I woke up the next morning i saw a sign that said "If you're found here at night you'll be found here in the morning..."
