Eagles of Death Metal leader sounds off on gun control

Wow. CNN published something pro-gun - Eagles of Death Metal to return to Paris - CNN.com

When asked about his stance on guns, Hughes said, "Did your French gun control stop a single f****** person from dying at the Bataclan? And if anyone can answer yes, I'd like to hear it, because I don't think so. I think the only thing that stopped it was some of the bravest men that I've ever seen in my life charging headfirst into the face of death with their firearms."
-Jesse Hughes (lead singer of the band performing when terrorists killed 89 people at the Bataclan in Paris, France)

I take it your mild surprise is that CNN reported his statement?

I'm still waiting to read about it on the Huffington Post.

When you read that, do your eyes feel dirty? It's the fast food of journalism. It may be mildly interesting while being consumed but I always feel awful for having indulged

This is the type of interview that the anti-gunners hate. This is someone who witnessed first hand what happens when someone with malice in their heart decides to harm people, and no one has a viable means to defend them selves or others. When you hear the "Think of the children" or "I'm a gun violence survivor because an uncle was killed with a gun" comments from the anti-gunners you know it is fake. It is clothing themselves in the skins of victims. He has lived it, and seen the truth. It is a pity that people had to die for his epiphany

Well, they are a Metal band, after all. If you want political correctness...go ask the Buffalo Butts lip-syncing the Super Bowl halftime show.

Just another one of those tolerant, pacifist people wishing violence on those who disagree with him.
